The Maybach exists for one passenger, and everything about it follows from that. The rear cabin is where the money went — reclining seats with extended legroom, individual climate zones, and a level of acoustic isolation that makes a phone call from the back seat sound like a call from an office.
Underneath is the S-Class platform, which is already the benchmark for executive travel. The Maybach treatment extends the wheelbase, upgrades the rear compartment and adds the chrome and detailing that make it legible at a distance. A 4.7-litre twin-turbo V8 moves it without ever drawing attention to the effort.
Business travel. This is the standard car for a visiting board, a signing, or any day where a guest is being moved between meetings and the vehicle is part of the impression. Most bookings are chauffeur-driven with a full-day or multi-day arrangement, and corporate billing is available.
Weddings. The Maybach is the most-booked wedding car we have after the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Cullinan, and it is often the better practical choice — the rear doors are conventional, the seats are lower than an SUV's, and getting in and out in formal dress is straightforward. It also photographs cleanly without dominating the frame the way a Rolls-Royce does.
Diplomatic and state. Regularly booked for visits into Putrajaya. Discretion is standard and we do not publicise client bookings.
Self-drive. Permitted, though rare. If you are driving yourself and want an S-Class experience, the standard S580 in our fleet is the more sensible booking.
