Luxury Car Rental in Malaysia

One fleet, delivered across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Melaka and Putrajaya. Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Range Rover and Mercedes — insured and delivered, with no forms to fill in.

Renting a luxury car in Malaysia

Malaysia is one of the easier countries in Asia to drive a luxury car in. The inter-state expressway network is excellent and well maintained, driving is on the left — familiar to visitors from the UK, Australia and Singapore — and the distances between major cities are sensible. Kuala Lumpur to Melaka is roughly two hours, to Penang about four, and to Johor Bahru around three and a half.

VELO operates from Kuala Lumpur with delivery across the Klang Valley and into the other states. Whether you are a resident in Mont Kiara who needs a car for a month, a GCC family arriving at KLIA for a ten-day itinerary, or a company running a roadshow in Putrajaya, the arrangement is the same: choose the car, message us on WhatsApp, and we bring it to you.

Where we deliver

Delivery within Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley is standard. Inter-state delivery is arranged in advance and noted on the rental agreement so your insurance cover applies for the whole trip.

Kuala Lumpur

Our home city and same-day delivery zone. The Golden Triangle, KLCC and the expat belt north-west of the centre.

Selangor

The Klang Valley beyond the city boundary — business parks, residential enclaves and the KLIA corridor.

Putrajaya

The administrative capital. Government events, diplomatic visits and wedding convoys along the boulevard.

Penang

George Town and the island, about four hours north. Hotel and airport delivery, tours and weddings.

Johor

The southern gateway. Cross-border Singapore transfers and business travel, roughly three and a half hours from KL.

Melaka

The UNESCO heritage city and the easiest road trip from KL — two hours down the expressway.

What you need to rent

Malaysian residents need a valid Malaysian licence and MyKad. Visitors need a passport, a valid entry stamp or visa, and their home-country driving licence. Visitors from the GCC, the UK, the US, Canada and most of Europe can generally drive on their home licence for the length of a tourist stay, and an International Driving Permit is recommended. The minimum age is 21, and higher on selected supercars. Full detail is on the FAQs page.

What people rent for

The most common bookings are weddings, GCC family visits, corporate roadshows, weekend runs to Genting Highlands and monthly hires for expatriates. Each has a dedicated service page covering the arrangements and pricing in detail.

Common questions

Yes. You need a passport, a valid entry stamp or tourist visa, and your home-country driving licence. Visitors from the GCC, the UK, the US, Canada and most of Europe can generally drive on that licence for the length of their stay. An International Driving Permit is recommended and required for some nationalities.
Yes. Delivery within Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley is standard. Penang, Johor Bahru, Melaka and Putrajaya are arranged in advance so the trip is noted on the rental agreement and your insurance applies throughout.
Premium sedans and SUVs start around RM 400–700 per day. Executive SUVs and luxury MPVs run roughly RM 1,000–2,500. Supercars and the Majestic category — Rolls-Royce, Maybach, McLaren — range from about RM 2,500 to RM 7,500 per day. All rates include comprehensive insurance, and weekly or monthly terms reduce the effective daily rate substantially.
Yes. The inter-state expressway network is excellent and inter-state travel is permitted. Tell us your route when booking so it is recorded on the agreement — that is what keeps your insurance cover valid outside the Klang Valley.
Cross-border travel needs to be agreed in advance and is not available on every vehicle — insurance, VEP registration and toll arrangements all differ once you cross. For most visitors the better arrangement is a chauffeured transfer to Johor Bahru with a separate car on the Singapore side. Ask the concierge and we will set it up.
A torque-rich SUV or a luxury MPV. The Range Rover Vogue and Mercedes-AMG G63 handle the Karak gradient comfortably, and the Toyota Alphard or Vellfire are the better answer for six or more travelling together. A low supercar is possible but the ramps and speed bumps on the approach make it a slower, more careful drive.
