How self-drive rental works

  1. Choose the car and dates — Tell us the car and your dates on WhatsApp. The minimum rental is 24 hours.
  2. Send your licence and passport — A driving licence held for at least two years — with an International Driving Permit for most tourists — and your passport, sent over WhatsApp so we can verify them before delivery.
  3. Security deposit — A refundable security deposit is held while you have the car.
  4. Delivery and a briefing — The car comes to your hotel, residence or KLIA with a Touch 'n Go card for tolls and parking. First-time visitors get a briefing on local driving — Malaysia drives on the left.
  5. Return and release — Hand the car back at the end of the rental; after a quick inspection, your deposit is released.
  • Only need it for a day — a single 24-hour booking, the shortest self-drive rental we offer.
  • A week or longer — a full seven-day block at a lower daily rate — worth asking about if you need the car for three days or more.
  • Rather be driven — a professional chauffeur for business, events and multi-day visits across Malaysia.
