The Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are, by a distance, the most-booked luxury vehicles in Malaysia — and the least understood by visitors expecting a European badge. They are the standard for family travel, corporate roadshows and airport runs across the region for a straightforward reason: the second-row seats are better than those in most executive sedans, and there are five more seats behind them.

The Alphard Executive Lounge is the higher-specification of the two, with reclining captain's chairs, powered ottomans and a partition to the front.
