When you land at KLIA Terminal 1 or KLIA2, a VELO representative is already at the car park with your chosen vehicle. The handover walkaround and paperwork take ten minutes in the bay. Then you are on the ELITE Highway, 65 kilometres of open road between Sepang and the city, with Kuala Lumpur's skyline coming into view somewhere near Putrajaya. Which Terminal — and Which Airlines

KLIA Terminal 1 handles Malaysia Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad, Singapore Airlines, British Airways, and most full-service international carriers. KLIA2, about four kilometres south, is home to AirAsia and AirAsia X, including direct services from Bangkok, Jakarta, and several GCC cities. Confirm your terminal from your boarding pass or airline app before you fly — we prep the car at the right one.

An airport transfer is a chauffeured single trip: a VELO driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you to one destination. Share your flight number when you confirm the booking over WhatsApp. We monitor live flight status from the departure airport and adjust the handover time accordingly. If your aircraft pushes back late from Dubai, Riyadh, or London, the car stays put at the terminal and your slot moves with the delay — at no extra charge for delays within reason. We ask you to message us as you clear immigration so the representative can walk the car to the collection point.
At KLIA Terminal 1, handover takes place at Level 1 of the short-term car park adjacent to the arrivals kerb — the walkaround inspection and paperwork are completed there in the bay, away from the drop-off traffic. At KLIA2, which handles AirAsia and a few international carriers, we use a pre-agreed bay in the public car park on the ground floor. Precise bay number and a pin-drop are sent via WhatsApp the morning of your arrival.
Every car collected at KLIA comes with a pre-loaded Touch 'n Go card mounted at the gantry reader, so you pass through every ELITE Highway toll on the 65-kilometre run into the city without stopping for cash. Under normal morning traffic the drive to KLCC or Bukit Bintang takes roughly 45 minutes; allow 60 minutes during the evening peak or on a Friday. The card covers return tolls as well — any remaining balance stays on it when you return the vehicle.
A valid passport, a driving licence held for at least two years, and an International Driving Permit (IDP) are the core requirements. Most GCC licences are accepted alongside the IDP; confirm with us when booking if your licence is from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, or Oman. The minimum age is 23 on most models and 25 on supercar and ultra-luxury variants. A security deposit is collected on WhatsApp-confirmed terms before handover.
Return the car to the same terminal where you collected it — KLIA Terminal 1 or KLIA2. Agree the return slot when you book so the timing is built around your check-in, not worked out on the day. Leave enough time before check-in to complete the handover walkaround and fuel check (cars go out with a full tank and come back full). A VELO representative meets you at the agreed bay, inspects the vehicle together with you, and releases the deposit once cleared. One-way handovers — collecting at the airport and returning to a city hotel in KLCC, TRX, or Bukit Bintang — are available on request.
